“ Exceptional Pour Over Experience with the "Lumen" I just visited Filtered Coffee under its new ownership and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. I tried their “Lumen" pour-over, a single-origin Colombian coffee with tasting notes of guava, cheesecake, Golden Delicious apple, and pear**. The flavor profile was bright, and beautifully balanced. The fruity sweetness of guava and pear shone through, followed by a subtle note of cheesecake. The barista Ally, clearly took care in the preparation, making it a truly enjoyable cup. “ First time visiting after remodeling. We absolutely loved the renovated store. Had an Iced earlgreylavender latter and fell in love with it. Sweet (but not too sweet) and aromatic flavor! They are located in heart of Mckinney downtown and that is a "huge" plus! It is absolutely a must stop when visiting downtown of Mckinney. Will definitely come back over and over! ”

“ Between the awesome merch, the perfect weather to sit outside, and the delicious matcha - it was all perfect! Staff here was super friendly and it was a really welcoming atmosphere. Patrons ranged from people meeting for a cup of joe, folks working with laptops/headphones, and people reading. Really good mix and a lot of space for people to spread out. The blueberry matcha was nuts! I didn’t expect the flavor combo with the matcha, and it was delicious. Also, it was one of those drinks that got better the more you drank it. Highly recommend trying this, even if you’re not a matcha lover ”

“ The veggie quiche was simply divine! I absolutely adore the coffee beans they used; the cappuccino was a classic delight. Shop Looks small from the outside, but it’s surprisingly spacious and offers ample seating options, including chairs and sofas. The baristas are also supe cute. ”
“ LOVEEEEEEEEE THE NEW REMODEL! I had been coming to Filtered for many years, but it started feeling stale and uncomfortable to sit at for a long period of time (especially in the back). I actually started going to another coffee shop down the street because it was more comfortable, even though they didn't have the tea I liked. The new remodel feels so nice and I'm back at Filtered because of it! There is now comfortable seating, more space for groups and good/consistent lighting. Same community feel, better vibes, and now I get to have the peppermint tea that I love. ”
